More than 60 years
VELUX has been manufacturing high-quality accessories for more than 60 years. They are tested under extreme conditions - twitched, squeezed, exposed to heat, snow, rain, strong winds - to ensure they will last for many years.
They are perfectly compatible with VELUX roof windows, and there are no measurements to take, just read the window code from a metal plate at the top of the sash.
Electric control shutters SML
Electric remote control shutters are operated via an automated VELUX control panel with touch screen, already supplied with the VELUX remote control roof window or shutter. An intuitive solution that allows you to easily adjust your blinds remotely. The VELUX control panel has a whole range of pre-saved programmes for everyday comfort and to improve the indoor climate. You can adjust your blind from anywhere in your room and use all the functions of the pre-set modes, such as the ability to program the shutter to raise and lower at certain times.
What if I don't have a VELUX electrically operated sunroof?
If you don't have an electrically operated VELUX sunroof but would like an electrically operated shutter, try the KUX 100 control system. It allows you to use mains-operated VELUX blinds or shutters together with manually operated sunroofs. Or try the KMX 100 control system and turn your hand-operated sunroof into an automated window. The KMX 100 control system will enable you to manage multiple electrical products.
Both control systems include a VELUX remote control that makes the blind or shutter compatible with io-homecontrol®. The KMX 100 control system also includes a rain sensor.
Solar control shutters SSL
Solar-controlled and remote-controlled shutters are controlled via a remote control supplied with the shutter. If you have a solar-powered sunroof, you can also use the VELUX automated touchscreen control supplied with your VELUX remote control sunroof.
The VELUX control panel has a whole range of pre-saved programmes for everyday comfort and to improve your indoor climate. You can adjust the shutter from anywhere in your room and use all the functions of the preset modes, such as the possibility to program the shutter to raise and lower at certain times.
The rechargeable solar battery has enough electrical capacity to provide up to 600 operations, even when there is no direct sunlight to charge.
Material
Our shutters are made of durable lacquered aluminium and are rigorously tested under the toughest conditions to ensure years of trouble-free operation - no matter what challenges nature throws at you. The VELUX shutter travels through side channels, also made of lacquered aluminium, and is supplied with a top section.
